Autumn love 2014 :-)

Autumn is nearly over...my favourite season! I have been doing a little less drawing/painting lately and focusing more on my photos...

What better time of year to take lovely pics outside? Every year I do some annual Autumn pics with the kiddies (We usually just stay here in our town as we have some beautiful Liquidamber-spelling? trees around) But yesterday (Sunday 18th May) we decided on a sponataneous trip up to the Blue Mountains, not to far from home, but still long enough. :-)

The Mountains are magical this time of year, I have alot of friends (and family) that would agree 100%.
Something about the cold fresh air, hot chockies and good coffee from our favourite cafes...

Anyhoo, long story short, I could go on and on, but I will let my pics do the talking...

First stop was for coffee/hot chockies/pasties of course and a play at a park in Wentworth Falls (about an hour from our place). Schwarzes a German bakery/cafe located in town is a must stop...we usually get takeaway as I figure there are too many beautiful spots to take it with us...

Ps All pics were taken on my iphone5S...and then I usually Instagram them, love the effects Instagram offers...really need to check out more options, but bear with me as I am still experimenting too ;-)
Feel free to follow my Instagram account I am @deebriggos
Took our afternoon tea to the park to enjoy...what kid doesnt love the park, especially after being in the car for an hour!

Colours from nature.

Our 3 little munchkins

After a play it was time for a little bushwalk...(pretty easy one as we had Beau with us) But enjoyable for all. Kids and nature go perfectly together...

Beau regularly told us to "sshhhhhhhh hop hops" (he was hoping we may spot a kangaroo or more likely wallaby hehehe)

Daddy and Beau, love these guys

Stopping quietly to admire a black cockatoo, special.

Chris and I :-)

Beau is a collector...he is constantly collecting leaves, sticks, rocks, you name it...(I think its a 2 year old thing)

One more quick play before we head further up the mountains...next stop Govetts Leap at Blackheath.

Beautiful sunset to end a lovely day

I did take more pics, but these were the highlights...I am loving trying different settings and playing with my phone. Who knows if I will pack the camera again? Technology is pretty impressive I think :-) Hope you liked this little highlight reel from our afternoon.
